Chief Capital Markets Officer

The Founder is seeking a senior capital markets professional who wants to be part of an innovative national infrastructure platform, which will generate $1B+ economic development, tourism, and healthcare access in underserved communities across Canada.

This position provides the opportunity to apply decades of capital markets expertise to a mission-driven national platform.

The Chief Capital Markets Officer (CCMO) will join the founding leadership team and lead all capital formation activities. The CCMO will work directly with the Founder to structure and raise capital across multiple investment vehicles.

Role Responsibilities:

Capital Formation

• Review and enhance capital structures for multiple SPVs
• Co-raise seed capital for the platform
• Lead institutional fundraising efforts
• Further develop relationships with pension funds and insurers

Investor Relations

• Present investment opportunities to institutional investors
• Manage family office and private investor relationships
• Oversee investor communications and reporting

Financial Strategy

• Develop financial models for projects and platform
• Structure senior debt and mezzanine financing
• Negotiate financing terms with lenders

Mentorship

• Support development of the internal team
• Advise on major financing decisions

We are seeking candidates with experience in:

• infrastructure finance
• real estate capital markets
• project finance
• institutional fundraising

Ideal backgrounds include:

• pension fund executives
• infrastructure fund partners
• investment bank managing directors
• real estate capital markets leaders

Candidates who have led large-scale infrastructure financings are especially valuable.
